The CLEP
(College-Level Examination Program)



 The CLEP provides the oportunity for an examinee to demonstrate knowledge in a specific content area and obtain college credit for courses. The exam is accepted by over 2,900 colleges and universities. It is similar to the AP exam with several differences:
           - the exam is administered at a college tesing center
           - the exam is 90 minutes
           - each institution sets score levels for credit; this information is usually in the institution's general catalogue
