Course Description:
This course is designed as an introduction to the Spanish language and
Spanish/Latin American culture and history. Class activities will include
group skits and individual projects.
Course Objectives:
In this course, we will learn basic grammar and vocabulary. Our primary
objective is to learn how to read, write, speak, and understand Spanish
at a beginning level.
Evaluation:
The grade in this course will be determined as follows:
Notebook
10%
(neat, organized, and containing all notes,
homework, quizzes, etc.)
Class participation
15%
Quizzes

Exams/projects
30%
Final Exam
